Dear Friends,

Christine and I are off to Uganda next Monday -- already. I finished work last Friday and now I'm as best as I can be trying to nail down all the details. I delivered our friend Ken (who is in charge of the adventure) to the airport today. He'll be there a week ahead of us to smooth the way. He took us to the Freight Depot yesterday to buy tools we'll need. And I still have a few more things on his list to acquire.

Christine will be here Wednesday with a moving truck to stow her stuff in our garage for the next five years. The the whole family will be here over the weekend. We leave late Monday for London where we'll wait about four hours before going on to Entebbe. Our friend and fellow church member Chuck Wojnowski arrives at Heathrow just 40 minutes before we do and he'll be on the same flight to Entebbe. We arrive at 5:40 a.m.! I know I'll be next to dead because I can't seem to sleep on airplanes.

Mathew Langol will meet us there with a car. Our baggage will have to go by bus or truck. We'll spend the day in Kampala, about 40 miles north of Entebbe before we pick up Adelitus, arriving from Dar es Salaam.

If you type "Africa map" into Google, or "Uganda map," you'll get a good assortment of images to see where we are. That's your homework.

Keep in touch.

Peter
