Past
In 1885, First Congregational Church was founded, and met in three successive locations before the members took a leap of faith and built, in 1927, the present church building on the corner of Los Robles and Walnut. It is a building erected with hope for the future and it served the large congregation well, with several worship areas, gymnasium, skating rink, weekly dinners prepared in our own huge kitchen, and space for myriad church groups. It is interesting to note that although the building was completed in 1928, almost immediately, in 1933, a new and more effective heating system was put in.
Through the years we have continued to modify, upgrade, and improve the building erected in faith.
